I moved to Charlotte, NC in 1992 after growing up in Fresno, California and graduating from The University of California San Diego. I have been a licensed Realtor® since 1994, giving me over 23 years of experience and expertise in the Charlotte market. I started my real estate career working for Prudential Carolinas Realty for 5 years and then in 1999, I joined the RE/MAX Organization. Over the last 23 years I have helped well over 900 clients move and have sold over $143 million of real estate in the Charlotte Metro area. My dedication, focus, and professionalism have allowed me to achieve high levels of success in real estate, earning seven professional designations (ABR, CDPE, CRS, e-PRO, GRI, SFR, & SRES) and numerous RE/MAX International awards including the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award, RE/MAX Platinum Award in 2006, 2007, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016; the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award in 2008; and the RE/MAX 100% Club in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. I am a licensed Realtor® and Broker in both North Carolina and South Carolina. My hobbies include hiking, backpacking, reading, running, weight lifting, riding motorcycles, working in the yard, and cooking. I have run in 6 marathons (all 26.2 miles) – one in Alaska, Ireland, Florida, Illinois, and two in California.
Cori Ray is my full-time assistant and has been working exclusively with me and assisting my clients since 2002. Cori grew up in Jamestown, NC and moved to Charlotte in 1997 when she was awarded a soccer scholarship at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She graduated in 2001 with a double major in Marketing and International Business. Cori became a licensed Broker and Realtor® in 2002 when she joined me. With her strong marketing background and her keen attention to details, Cori designs and implements our unique results oriented marketing plan and is responsible for getting maximum exposure for your home through the many print and internet marketing vehicles we utilize. Cori has also obtained the SFR and CDPE designations to further assist our clients. Outside of work, Cori’s hobbies are running, triathlons, hiking with her dogs, tutoring, and coaching soccer and basketball.
Cori and I are both big animal lovers and operate a dog friendly office. Combined, we have four canine assistants that have been rescued from local animal shelters. All four dogs play together while we work and keep us company in the office throughout the day. Cori has two Bluetick Coonhounds named Soco and Ryder. Soco is 14 years old and was adopted from Tri-County Animal Rescue near Lake Norman. Ryder is the newest addition and is a little over 3 years old. Ryder was an “Urgent Rescue” from the Humane Society when a volunteer found her trapped in a bear trap in the Blue Ridge Mountains. My two dogs are named Boomer and Sadie. Boomer is the only male dog in the group and is a 8 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound. I adopted Boomer from Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Control and he is my loyal running partner. Sadie is a 7 year old Boxer and was rescued from Monroe Road Animal Hospital.
