Daniel Callahan and his assistant Cori Ray are 2 of the best in the business. Dan sold a home in our former neighborhood around 2 years ago in less than a week. A year later I spoke with him briefly about possibly selling our house. We were not ready at the time to sell, but he gave us an honest opinion of the home and what needed to be done to get it sold when we were ready. A year later we called him back up and he not only remembered our home, he remembered us by name as well. After final touch ups around the home, Cori took pictures that made the place look like a million bucks. We had 30 showings and 10 offers in 2.5 days on market. We were able to sell for around $15,000 over list price.

On the home buying side, my wife and I were not the “easiest” couple to work with due to how tight the supply is in the current housing market. Dan and Cori were patient and thorough as we looked at multiple properties around the Charlotte area. Once we found the home we wanted and made an offer, we ran into several issues on the home inspection. Dan fought tooth and nail to make sure that we were taken care of throughout the purchasing process and to get the needed concessions from the sellers to make the deal happen.

To wrap up:
– If selling with Dan, both he and Cori know there stuff very well. Follow their recommendations on home prep before listing and they will not disappoint getting your house sold.
– If buying with Dan, he will steer you clear of any issues that other agents may not even see with homes listed. He will be in your corner throughout the buying process and his follow through is second to none.
– I would not hesitate to recommend Dan and Cori to any potential buyer or seller, regardless of it being a buyers or sellers market.
